Hey guys,

I just put out an update that fixes the wonky registration screen.

Here's the update
Windows: https://www.dropbox.com/s/90pohohs16i9h ... s.exe?dl=1
Mac: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5a6xbpjkizgxk ... c.pkg?dl=1

There have also been a few reports of issues in PT. I can't reproduce it on my end, but I'm trying to track it down so I can get a fix for it today.

Yes, fixed it (the wonky screen).

After trying it on vocals, it didn't me long at all to find something I liked considerably better than my Little Microshift and MUnison. Simple and really big/thick-sounding without darkening. Light on the pocket, too. :ud:

Can’t decide whether ProVocative goes before or after Equivocate. I guess the days of Boz giving his plugs names like Sasquatch or Bark of Dog are over.

Great to read all the positive impressions. I don't recognize the Boz brand, so it's excellent to find that the audio quality is on pair with Microshift and Eventide. As I wrote, they had me on the workflow. :D

I found and fixed the PT bug. That was a beast to find, but it's running smoothly now.

Here's the update, or you can always grab it from your accounts page.

I was a bit the same, and then I picked up the 10db bundle on a sale and was really impressed by how good it sounded. My BOZ collection is steadily growing with some very useful mixing tools.

what features is it missing compared to Microshift? Seems slightly different algorithms, and Microshift has continually varying delay and pitch whereas ProVocative needs a bit of modulation to achieve that.

Trying the demo and I am impressed - it does one thing extremely well with little effort and at the current special has an attractive price

Anyone know how it compares to something like AudioDamage Discord4?

Yeah you're right, short on features was a poor choice of words. They are really
very similar aside from the different algorithms in Microshift, 'mostly' modeled
after eventide hardware interestingly. ProVocative definitely offers a more
comprehensive control set. Microshift sounds better in the end, imho.
And I would put at least 3 or 4 different eventide plugins on top of that.

Still ProVocative is right up there and likely the most efficient of the lot,
not to mention no iLok for those who prefer that.

I have them all actually...

Left us hanging there. What's the market leader in your opinion?

Hey guys, one more update available. The last one fixed the {T issue for some people, but there were still some issues lingering. So far, this update has fixed the issue for everybody who has installed it.

For us who are not affected by that bug, can we just as well skip this update?

Thanks again for an awesome plugin. It does wonders to my thin-sounding voice.

True, that. I recently acquired Microshift and thought it sounded quite nice indeed. I'd also be curious to know what its superiors are.

I too would like to hear what you think is better than microshift.. or any of the Eventide offerings (personally I think the H910 does the best sounding typical pitch thickener sound).

Reaper's ReaPitch plugin can also do it quite nicely with some of the algorithms. And with offline processing you can get a really modern sounding microshifted process going with any of the pitch/time stretching offline algorithm but it's of course a lot more stuff to manage and not at all as easy to keep track of, especially if you need the effect on tons of tracks.
