Hello,
Is it possible to overdub a modwheel over a softsynth clip that only has notes ? I mean overdubbing by moving the modwheel as the clip plays, and not drawing modulation curves.
I tried with this combination:
Did not record the modwheel. Then I added a Ch1 Modulation #1 lane, checked the same options as above, played the clip. did not record any modwheel that was moving during that time. I also tried both with the OVR button beside it also enabled.

Midi cc are not automation so yes, overdub needs to be activated. It works fine here so just in case, you did activcate the OVR button to the right, did you?

No idea, can't create that without playing notes.

Some controllers can reassign control values. If you remap modwheel to aftertouch, then you can do it.Tearing Riots wrote:No idea, can't create that without playing notes.
