It sounds pretty good to me.
The only thing is that perhaps it could be further enhanced by a lilting pad for a few parts and maybe some sparse yet punctuated drum sounds, maybe something tribal.
But then again, the tune is yours and not anyone else's. What you already created sounds pretty unique in a good way. It sounds pensive and descriptive of something meticulous like somebody trying to multitask a bunch of delicate yet profoundly important tasks, like disarming a bomb or whatnot. Obviously for that type of a cinematic scene, it might not quite make sense to have huge "boom boom" drums. So your already decent percussion works pretty well already. I can relate to the style. Percussion doesn't have to be ballistic to keep good time and to hold interest. I think the tune works well.
Because of it's slight minimalism, you might be able to fly in another pad to add just another layer of dimension. Another possibility is just to add some one-time special effects of just a few wierd sounds that aren't necessarily musical at all yet which don't detract from the motifs.
I think you did a great job. The openness of the tune would work well with on-screen dialogue without detracting from it, while still bringing some aesthetic and emotional tension.
I take your composition seriously. Thanks for a nice tune. I would subscribe as a follower, but I don't do SoundCloud anymore; I jumped ship to swim to HearThis.at
Have a good day.

you opinions are good and mostly valid, because i'm not trying be John Powell
I like keep my pace, and supe-up where needs, this is very much an intluddle to an action piece, cannot expect me to do everything, no?
LOL ,was bult as a concept to see if i want to develop it further.

sorry, was a drunken respone... i've thought about it now, and doesn't seem like a bad idea, but i have a limited number of good pads ( i use TrackGod), might pick up "Lit Last Night" for the pads, but don't think i can afford it atm.
I'll look into wht i can make next.

You don't need to buy any pads. There are enough great, free synths that'll give you what you needDJ LFD wrote:sorry, was a drunken respone... i've thought about it now, and doesn't seem like a bad idea, but i have a limited number of good pads ( i use TrackGod), might pick up "Lit Last Night" for the pads, but don't think i can afford it atm.

Thanks for the reply, if it still applies let me know, but i think i have a more "brillant" for of it:
Used Maximum to Overall Master... exported the pieces in this way: Split the Treble (except for snares) and the bass... left bass n' snares clean, enhanced synths with THX(TM) TruStudio Suround...
another video, should sound much better:
video on top of 2nd page and end of 2nd page is near finished.

Whatever it is you keep doing with this 'mastering', please, erm...STOP!DJ LFD wrote:Thanks for the reply, if it still applies let me know, but i think i have a more "brillant" for of it:

I get the feeling that whatever it is you are using is not designed for the task you are using it for, and it always totally trashes the sound whenever you've used it.

I think it's confusing, as a split the bass n' snares, and sourroun-sound'ed the high... then i mixed the back in, i agree the bass is too harsh and the rest of the music is subdued...
Will work more tomorrow. I had my bass way down to see if it would hit hard, but unluckily for me there's neighbors. Will try headphones then speakers next time, Thanks!...
and ab out the Maximus (Mastering Plugin), it only compresses the peaks, if it is the problem i will export a dry version of it.

i decided to stick with my original mix, as i felt intense coming oout with it, no amount of mastering can "Fix what isn't Broken" LOL XD
Near final version is here, will 'tidy up' the ending as critique'd earler, TY Fam!

Hello KVR, I worked for like 6-10 more hours, lost track of time, this one is hard hitting, intense and the highs should give chills, the video may be interesting as well, i honestly hope so i whipped it up quick but i am fairly good at mixing images and FX...

Please give feedback, i need to get this right, and if you're thinking "screw that it's already good i'm not saying anything", or "it is terible," or anything in between, please give a comment on what you think if you listen, i'm really short on frriends as i am on vacation with my G/F right now and have no way of chatting on FB, takes too long i'm working

About the defusing bombs and Jason Bourne, ins't he the one usually the one placing Saboteur devices in the first placeNystagmusE wrote:It sounds pretty good to me.

Have a good day.
I agree the boom-boom was awkward in some of the early releases, but i am struggling to find that niche where Bourne is in a public place, being hunted, and effectively taking out the hunters single handedly, and getting into a situation where it is do or die....
TY For the Feedback, it helps, and i think about all the feedback i have gotten from friends and colleagues... i think the final version is set to be placed in a "Space where David Webb Takes the Power Back"... the CIA is hunting him after all, and his only mission is to redeem himself, so think an action sequence where he has to over-power the opposition is meaningful.

Finalized the Track, nothing more can be done the levels are adjusted to peak performance and i'm happy with the overall mix, though it is a variation that is simply available should i wish to use it, sent it to Universal Studios...

Making Progress in my quest to master this one, mixing is tough with a compressor for me :/
for anyone interested in Honesty how i can get this right... i managed the basslines better by dropping decay and raising sustain, for somereason TrackGod responds better.
The snares are giving me a hassle, as pointed by a nice forum member, but also i like the edginess of it, but i did mix it better.
the arrangement is slightly different with the string Synth Not the string Sample made more vivid, and the interlude is more coherent, intro is a bit more profound:

Updated first post with Large Lettering for it, If you don't want to listen, feel free to listen to anything else you like. please refrain from posting if you are not being constructive, i am not asking anyone to listen, this is an ongoing WIP, and i am making a new version available to someone who might actually care, but in this forum it seems i am just blogging and posting On-Topic Progress is what the forums can offer with bells on
[MOD EDIT]I've removed 3 pages of off topic arguing[/MOD EDIT]
