If I were to use a VST, I'd probably use a MiniMoog emulation instead and call it a day... maybe it will be a bit more raw than a Minitaur, maybe it won't sound as deep, but it's a really nice alternative.
If you're don't mind playing with samples instead... cough... some of the samples in my signature come from that synth... cough... I won't tell which pack and you'll also need to make your own programs in your sampler of choice... the result will be different from the actual synth (the filter is different), but it may still be worth a shot...
