YT vid sounded okay, I was a bit concerned as the synth didn't seem very stable, maybe that's how he got round the tuning problems?
Also he appears to have different colored hands, I would ask the question which ones the funkiest but that would call forth the great great grand mother of all can of worms
Regarding the synth, its basically what you put into it and learn the limits or failing of something that opens up sonic adventures, like beta testing, sometimes something that others regard a a problem can be a boon to others

Man is least himself when he talks in the first person. Give him a mask, and he'll show you his true face

Made in 2015 and already vintage. Very entertaining read on RottenTomatoes:

I am not 100% sold on the Timbre Wolf (the acid lines sound good - not so much the chords which need some modulation to animate them) but I love my Tom Kat. Faxi did such visceral take down of Rhythm Wolf it is now cool to hate on any of these Akai boxes. You almost owe an apology to have a differing point of view.
