No worries EnGee, everything got solved in the best way possible and at the end of the day everybody went home happy: the kids got their support from us, Luftrum and the developers received our and the children's gratitude and the rest of us we added some nice items to our rigs!EnGee wrote: Thu Oct 04, 2018 12:17 amThis belongs to the "Bugs Report" section thenemanuelsj wrote: Wed Oct 03, 2018 10:43 pmWell, Luftrum is a human too. I remember seeing some human errors during the previous years of the Charity so I would rather be picky than doing a mistake too. But I guess in the end all that matters is to have your own method, as long as it helps you keep pace with the bid.EnGee wrote: Wed Oct 03, 2018 10:37 pmWhy all this?! You just note the bid when you note the item you want from the first page (this is the supposed last update).emanuelsj wrote: Wed Oct 03, 2018 10:17 pm True, but if no one is bidding for the item you're interested in during the latest Luftrum update session, then you must go one session back. And if nothing there another one back, until the latest bid is found. Anyway, the current bid method is the best, cause it allows complete transparency.
Sometimes, Luftrum writes a temporary "updating" post, then I think it is better to wait till he finishes all the updates, then start bidding![]()

is there anywhere we can suggest possible developers/companies that you could approach?
vfe pedals in seattle are a boutique company. they are kind of new but have some interesting bits.
i have no connections with them, merely a customer from their kickstarter.
they could get some publicity and you could add some cash to the coffers for the charities

Last year at least, people were encouraged to contact possible developers themselvesvurt wrote: Thu Oct 04, 2018 8:27 pm is there anywhere we can suggest possible developers/companies that you could approach?

Checkpoint!
All bids up to this point is updated on the frontpage.
We got new stuff added to the growing list of contributions!
As someone asked earlier, what if you want to see a developer contributing who is not on the list? Then please just contact them yourself and direct them to this thread and send them my contact info if they got any questions to how it works. That's it! You will be surprised how kind the dev's are.

Yes, I wish I could update it more often, but I simply don't have time. I update it once daily with new bids and new contributions and there's a lot of stuff going on in the background which you do not see, and that takes time too...
