Ozone should be able to "talk" to each Neutron instance. Like having it cut out some bass on a single track rather than applying global EQ on the whole mix.
FREE Izotope Neutron Elements w/ Any Purchase At PIB. Who cares?

Yup but you can't do it with Element. They cut an awful amount out which for free is fine, but the fact they actually ask $129 for it is laughable.

I've just got it on my system and it's definitely Neutron 1 Elements. I'm disappointed as I already have the full Neutron 1. PiB really need to change it to Neutron 1 Elements...

I honestly don't fully understand how the Neutrino mode works fully and I do have the Neutrino plugin Izotope's manuals are annoying because they're about the full version of plugins and don;'t have specific ones for Elements, Which I have found.
To me the most important part of Neutron is the Masking feature and the Relayer plugin both of which aren't available in Elements.
The EQ seems sweet but I honestly have a hard time differentiating between parametric eqs like is it any better then my stock eq in Reaper? Theres no dynamic mode in Elements either.

To make it really useful as mixing assistant Neutron should analyze every track (where it's inserted) and analyze every channel against every actually playing channel - like we do while mixing (like: ok I can boost this lead at 5kHz but there's another lead which already occupied that spectrum so i will cut that frequency range on the second lead to make space for the first one as this one should be in front ). I'm not sure if it really does that or it's just analyze every track separately for best settings without looking on other tracks that play simultaneously.SoundPorn wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 6:43 pm Well that's where they get ya and want you to get Ozone to analyze the whole mix. I think they both should be combined into the same dam plugin.
pixel85 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 4:34 pm - You'll get really nice exciter and transient shaper with it which is worth more than $2
- EQ is basic and rather every top daw have similar if not better onboard.
- I don't see any hunger for CPU (i7 4790k) and I could put multiple instances on already busy mix
- Assistant is useless for two reasons: one is that it doesn't analyse your mix so decisions are made based on 'best settings for analysed single instrument sound' - which is opposite to philosophy of mixing which are: 'best settings to mix it with other tracks in the mix'. It may be good for solo instruments tho. Second is you'll get only three presets which makes it usable only in specific situations. I tried it on three mixes (different genres) and once I like but two days later I decided that it's doesnt sound good and two times I disliked what it did.

Yes, it's confusing that they're calling it Neutron 2 Elements...Russell Grand wrote: ↑Sat Nov 10, 2018 9:33 pm I've just got it on my system and it's definitely Neutron 1 Elements. I'm disappointed as I already have the full Neutron 1. PiB really need to change it to Neutron 1 Elements...
On the upside, there is no such thing as Neutron 2 Elements. 1.00 is the latest version. So it is the most current version they're offering.

I think its only worth to get it you are planing to upgrade.
I checked some videos what Neutron does and it seems Elements version is just EQ, Compresssor and exciter and does not offer "neutron" feature wheres Neutron is called neutron. Anyone care maybe explain me if im missed out something?

I really like Izotope Alloy 2 - the interface for neutron is garbage.
I make music: progressive-acoustic | electronica/game-soundtrack work | progressive alt-metal
