Having a small Windows device for light use while on the road has always intrigued me. I recently came across a series of videos showing the Surface Go running various DAWs.

How do you guys think the Surface Go or a similar device would do running a DAW such as Studio One or FL Studio in a light duty situation ?

One interesting use case is a portable VST synth for sound design on the go (Go). Then you can create new sound patches and reuse them in projects on your main DAW computer.

iOS has heaps of cool software synths but in most cases you can't reuse them in a desktop project without sampling or recording the audio.

Thanks Digital, that's an good idea as I was mostly only focusing on using the Go for the purposes of running a DAW. I'll have to look into that.
