TDR Nova is good but does not have many filter types - Rea EQ is have but has issues with automation - or at least did when I only had ReaEQ, maybe that's been fixed, not a huge fan of the usability of Melda plugins - personal taste

Another alternative is LVC Audio Toned-MAX. Just out with a new version AND black friday sale of $39US. Resizable GUI too. Lots of other nice features. Hard to beat this one for the price. Oh and the GUI is not bad either, :borg: I do say so myself. :phones:

It also had the band pass you are looking for. Plus the ability to put various analogue modelled pre-amps on each band, linear or minimal phase with various os controls, etc etc.

Crave EQ has choices for filter slope, not just the standard peak shape.

another couple of interesting suggestions - thanks. I've had some correspondence with DDMF and they are looking at the bug so hoepfully I can avoid getting another EQ

If you're having trouble writing automation with the VST3 version, try the VST2, or vice versa - sometimes one or the other isn't fully supported in a certain DAW.

It doesnt have the filters but while on the topic of EQs I'd suggest taking a look at Paradox by Soundspots, It's able to make some very unique curves and twists, and if you buy it on sale at PIB you get Neutron Elements which has a great EQ for free.

thanks - yes I have that with Soundmorph Dust, which is stable as a VST2 in Reaper, not so much as VST3

There's also kilohearts slice eq to consider (currently considering it myself at the moment over ProQ2)

They just released a free spectrum analyser and it's awesome!

Cool.
If the free analyser had been released first, more people might have have caught on about the on sale EQ.

It's too bad Gramotech didn't get the word out better. I would've bought. A missed opportunity to build their brand in a hurry.
