It's copy-paste from actual hardware and ux-looks like nightmare especially pin matrices.
With respect to original hardware of course - they were solving solving something that is not a problem in VA.

Pretty much everything except the preset browser on one page:

One layer, with two oscillators, each with a sub-oscillator, two filters, two LFOs, 2 Mod envelopes, 2 Amp envelopes, & FX. Sounds great!

Any synth based on hardware will generally be one page. The Roland cloud synths, korg analog emulations, uhe repro, also bazille cm and tyrell. Lots of other freebies like synth1 and Dexed. Reaktor blocks ensembles or other modular style synths. For that matter lots of Reaktor synths as well. Poly-Ana, imposcar. Other Roland emulations like from TAL.

I guess for ultimate power probably bazille gearporn skin.

I think the idea of a one-page synth is mostly an illusion. It only works with rather simple synths such as Charlatan. As soon as the synth is more sophisticated, there are just too many features and controls to fit on one page. So, it might seem like one page, but you usually have various smaller panels to choose from. Think of Spire etc.

I actually like the idea of having one page for the dry sound, one page for all effects, and maybe a performance and settings page. Similar to Air's Hybrid 3. Three pages, but each one with all controls visible at all times (which is not the case with Hybrid 3, unfortunately).

The Gearporn skin for Bazille is the closest for a complex synth.
