The Ladder Filter sounds pretty good! :tu:
Now I have to figure out how the euclidean module works.

It slowly justifies the price while sending a clear message that Cherry Audio isn't seating on what's been done.

I just wished it worked in Reason or at least under a VST-host VST which VM easily crash :(

ah well...

FYI everyplugin made their discount public - $84US for core+drums! :phones:

Is it worth buying it when you have Reaktor?

Unfortunately, you make the decision yourself.
I have a Reaktor and Cherry. The Reaktor while idle.

I have Reaktor 6 however I am new to it and so far am only using it to work with existing ensembles. I've tried messing with the Blocks but the lack of resizability hampers my enjoyment of it. I've struggled to get into virtual modulars because of workflow roadblocks - but this is just my own personal challenge. When I fired up the VM demo I found myself working farily quickly and easily to assemble useful patches. And I like the sound of it too - its some-what unique. That's what prompted me to get VM, the workflow is the best I have seen in a virtual modular. My intent with Reaktor was more around using existing ensembles so VM doesn't over-lap for me. However if you are Reaktor programmer you might find over-lap with VM - best to try the demo since there are so many use-cases it would be hard to decide with just a few user reviews. :phones:

With VM/STM/VCV vs Reaktor you have to ask yourself how much you want front patching and ease of use vs back patching and an antediluvian and microscopic UI. Reaktor is ultimately more powerful if you want to put the hard yards in.

it's different. Reaktor is a modular at the component level, like DIY electronics level.
VM is modular at the (eurorack-type) module level (unless you know DSP coding and code your own VM modules)

Reaktor's tiny thin microscopic lines ("wires") and free component positioning annoy me. ...just saying :)

I own both (as I own many other soft-modulars, btw).

So you recommend VM?!

At the current price? At the current rate of new modules being released? Yes :)

Dave,

Load the Super Envelope Generator module and select One Shot mode. A trigger will cause the EG to go through the DAHD stages of the envelope.

Thanks,
Dan
