In the past, pre-order prices have ended on the Release Date. And, no, precise release dates have not been announced in advance.

After nearly three weeks since ST4 was announced you don't have a simple list of the sample content that comes with your sample based plugin ? No one made such a list while the sampling was being done ?

Ok then I decide to buy nothing.....

It's funny. Last time around, IK was only too keen to promote the sounds in the upcoming ST3...by posting pictures of different instruments that had been sampled. And the company wasn't even running a pre-order.

Frankly, they weren't much help at the time. Now, with the pre-order there's even less information.

Nevermind the lack crossgrade / upgrade for previous owners of products totaling way more than $99, but imagine now how many lost sales there will be. Seems silly.

The upgrade is a crossgrade: "Users of existing SampleTank versions, or any other IK product that retails for $99.99 and up, can also upgrade..."

Post

Well, reading the thread I figured folks would know what I mean by lack of an offer for long term customers that have spent a lot more than $99. Oh well, IK has seemingly never cared about it so it isn't worth discussing.

I'm sorry that I'm not clairvoyant. Have a nice day.

Post

What does that have to do with reading a thread you are posting in...? Ha!

Post

Try writing what you mean not making people guess at what you think you mean. You'll find life is easier that way.

Post

My point was that I did, earlier in the thread. It was discussed a bit. And on Vi-Control. And probably other places.

You seem to be in a bad mood. Would a Happy New Year and go make some music help?

Post

You seem to do a lot of assuming about state of mind. Do you want some help with that?

Post

I think you are taking this way too seriously...I AM ASSUMING HERE!!!

Chill the Hell out. Or keep going, I don't really care. Wow... Did I do something to you on another thread? What is going on?

Smiles.

The other issue last time, was third party US sites were allowed to sell at the pre-order price, then on the day, if you ordered from the US and were not a resident those orders were cancelled, so you missed the intro price anyway.

Happened to me. Wasn't happy!.

I don't think this is rocket science. OK, maybe for you it is. But I saw "crossgrade" and thought you maybe didn't realise the upgrade was also a crossgrade and not having committed to memory the entirety of a 20-page thread constructed over the course of an entire month (I apologise fulsomely for this - I shall read all threads in great detail in the future to avoid making such a heinous mistake) replied in a spirit of helpfulness.

Of course, had I read through your entire post history I would have understood never to do anything so foolish and will not reply in such a casual way in the future.
