Hi!
When I use a temporal granularity of 512, I get a silent Spexx, the sound stops. As soon as I go back to 1k, sound returns.
Anyone gets this too?
OS X, Live 10.

Just checked this on our machines, and can confirm it doesn't happen to us. Sending you a PM, so we're not cluttering the thread with trouble shooting and/or error analysis.Neon Breath wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 6:31 am Hi!

And, handing back the thread back to you to get back to where you started it - that is, getting other people's opinion on what they think about Spexx. It feels like we "hijacked" it quite a bit since the original thread was started - that wasn't on purpose, should it have come across like that.

Just a quick heads-up to let you guys know that Re-Compose/bliquid25 did an amazing job at isolating and founding the 512 sound issue I had with Spexx. Quick and good work guys

My first encounter with Spexx, improvising with one of my Falcon leads straight into the plug-in, checking out the “mirror“-function. Video starts dry.

Nice. Is it possible to get processed harmony to constrain to a scale?

Sorry for not answering earlier. Your comment kinda fell through, thanks to myself not being fully familiar yet with the notification features on the KVR platform.Musical Gym wrote: ↑Wed Feb 13, 2019 10:44 pm Nice. Is it possible to get processed harmony to constrain to a scale?
As to your question, we're not sure that we've fully understood it. It does look like not to apply to Spexx (or be supported by it), but just to make sure: Is it possible for you to provide more context on what it is you're trying to do?
This would help a lot to answer the question.

I was just wondering if it was possible after listening to Simon's composition above.
I would guess Spexx might not have control over harmonic constraints with regards to following real-time scale changes.
I would be interested in what tweaks may have been applied to Spexx to generate whatever harmony was produced if in fact Spexx had anything to do with it.

Processing some flute phrases from Aureus Ventus (HALion) with ReCompose Spexx, tweaking some of the Spexx parameters on the fly. Video starts dry.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.Musical Gym wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 8:30 pm I was just wondering if it was possible after listening to Simon's composition above.

Spexx is an audio effect plug-in that does digital signal processing only. It has no knowledge of harmony, and hence is not able to detect scale changes or have control over harmonic constraints. That would be a different product altogether.
@Sampleconstruct Great example in the video. Thanks for sharing it again with the community here on KVR!

We've pushed out a version update (v1.0.12) last week that already includes this fix. Waiting for @Neon Breath to confirm it's working for him, too - but haven't seen any such issue anymore in our internal testing, and neither from any beta tester.Neon Breath wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 9:36 pm Just a quick heads-up to let you guys know that Re-Compose/bliquid25 did an amazing job at isolating and founding the 512 sound issue I had with Spexx. Anything else that pops up, please directly report it to us and we make sure it gets fixed immediately.

I wasn't notified of the update last week. Maybe I'm no longer on the list?
I thought perhaps Simon might have some info on the harmony over time.

The update wasn't pushed to customers, as it's an incremental bug fix 'only'. We'll push out a notification with the next major update - details on that to follow soon.Musical Gym wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 7:11 pm I wasn't notified of the update last week. Maybe I'm no longer on the list?

And, yes, we'll keep everyone on the list.
@Neon Breath: No worries, we're not in a rush. This was merely an info to the community here at KVR.
