I wish I could have gotten Omnisphere at Dollar Tree! Ha! Still worth it though - though I did get it a bit cheaper than full price. Guitar Centre maybe?

If I had to choose only one synth it would be Omnipshere.

The only problem with that is if it were to be the "only synth" it desperately needs Keyscape and Trilian to be closer to being "Omni".
So there's an "implied" admission that Omni isn't everything until you buy their three other add-ons.
So at best, Omnisphere is only 2/5ths of a complete synth to be "the one and only". And if the $1K+ price tag brings you to your senses, then HALion 6 becomes the better one plugin solution to me. Especially if you get an earlier version on a dump and register during a grace period. Of course, YMMV.
Omnisphere is a good tool.
But many that own it seem to be part of some religious cult. I would only suggest it to the "spiritually mature and independent". Never on an open forum.

Hammond - Acousticsamples B5

Piano - VSL CFX. I have both the CFX full and D274 full(steinway d) and I prefer the CFX. The steinway is more mellow and tamer while the cfx sounds more alive.

Considering the size of the sample library, and the hoops they were going through to produce it, i'd say that Omnisphere is not exactly expensive. Not sure if people really realize how work and cost intensive sampling is.

Well... maybe they DO realize, or at least halfway get it when they see the prizes of good sampling libraries.

Not that they'd believe it's justified, i guess.
