It looks so gorgeous sitting as the centerpiece of my studio. I prefer a synth as a master keyboard rather than a midi controller. That way sometimes I can just turn it on by itself and make sounds

soma delay, mentioned earlier.
well, as mentioned it was added to the to be purchased list.
that was after watching the posted video, plus a couple it lead to. i hadn't done any more research, just "yeah, that sound! i want it!"
so no budgeting, other than well it sounds like it might be expensive, so while i enjoy the bits i have, ill squirrel away my cash till im ready to be looking and go from there...
well today, i decided to have a look, see how much i was going to need, imagine my surprise at sub 200 quid for that
awesome sauce!
so yeah, now looking to order as soon as it's in stock somewhere
will probably grab the field fx now as well, leave the erbe for a few weeks, although i could grab it now, seems overkill all at once

2019 will be the year I sell, due to owning too much.
A grateful position to be in.

Hardware wise, I bought an MPC Live to replace Maschine, get back into hardware etc.
I'm probably going to end up buying a Roli Rise49 and a guitar cabinet. That should do it for a couple years.

$4000 or so for a top of the line custom PC workstation.
Originally I wanted to tweak a mini-itx system I recently bought, but now i need to build a scalable system that will last me at least 4-5 years for my required workflow.
I’ll most likely be buying it part by part and them build it myself.
System build I have in mind so far.
- Gigabyte X299 Designare Ex ATX LGA2066 Mobo
- Intel Core-i7 9800X (8-core) 3.8ghz
- Fractal design Define XL R2
- Noctua NH-D15S CFM
- Corsair Dominator Platinum 64GB (4x16) DDR-2666
- Samsung 1TB 970 Pro M.2-2280
- Cooler Master V1000
- Be Quiet! silent wings 2 50.5 CFM 120mm
- Asus Geforce RTX 2070 8GB Dual OC
The idea with is to eventually upgrade it from this to a 16-core, 128GB beast with maybe 2 2080 Ti video cards
Pretty sure Bitwig and U-he stuff will run like a dream on that.
I think you can safely say that I’m done waiting for the New Mac Pro
