und ob man wirklich graduieren muss, weil dir das wer sagt.

indicate precisely what you mean to say. yours sincerely wasted away.

There is such a thing as trying too hard but it is hard to draw the line.

A silly idea about music or art in general, "optimum complexity"....

So some listeners will enjoy such as Zappa's Black Page just right complexity and others dig on simple arrangements of simple songs.
... why "successful" or "accessible" examples of timbral complexity tend to be rhythmically, melodically and harmonically monotonous, to achieve an overall "optimum complexity."

One doesn't have to go for the center of the bell curve but if wishing to communicate one might try simplifying some dimensions in order to make space for other dimensions of complexity.. Or whatever. :)
Oh FFS. This is a cartoon-like funky number with a backbeat all throughout. There is nothing complex harmonically, there isn't a lot of anything confusing, except it's timbrally busy.

hey, thanks for reason. to be fair, the business is somewhat questionable. could've become a better tune by dialing the spastic down at parts, it does go from deliberate to more random at part. again, just not finished. burned out.

hitting the render button...

Yeah, you could subtract from it some. But harmonically it's more Cab Calloway in a Fleischer Brothers 'toon than weirdo.

A fun listen, loads going on and pretty well put together IMO.

thanks! and thanks for the cab calloway mention, jan. listened to greatest hits on youtube for waking up, feels good. this feels like the 20s, already. or 30s or whatever. when does the war start?

here's another tune made with them old proteus sounds, the world rompler specifically. there's a drumloop added, but other than that, fully 90's e-mu.

so here's a little prog piece. mixing wise, i created a time vortex...meaning it sounds shitty abrasive like stuff i did 10 years ago. -really- liking some musical ideas in there.
