sounds very good. personally, i would've thrown in a bit of a progression in the bass later on, with the vocals, a little VIb for example. just an idea, would've sounded good.
if that's your first breaks track, welcome to a world of possibility, and godspeed! godspeed to that spirit molecule. hehe cheezy.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooo not the amen break.
lol, jk..
The problem i have with that sped up drum style is that
it becomes monotonous and irritating.(IMHO)
kind of like the bassline in psytrance.
on the plus tip i did enjoy the nice mix.

ha, the drum loop I chopped up came with Cubase drum loop library, which had the reverb built in. I'll try remaking the loop myself with my own samples and see how we go from there - or I could just gate the hell out of it.
Just done a remix sort of, faders down and redone it. Will do the bassline to something with a bit more ooomph and slidey tomorrow.
Cheers all for the feedback!

Nice song! Drums could be a little more powerful?

I enjoyed this one strangely even though we have a very familiar drum loop playing. Mix sounds good but the kick part of the drums could do with a little more. Nice job.

so i take it this is rather stock-y as far as drums go? well i don't know cubase. i thought it was relatively custom, at least. well...it's a good loop.
