What does VST2 have to do with dragging from the bottom left corner -- or any other corner?

Resizing, or lack thereof, is a deal breaker issue for me. I need to know in detail about:
  • Minimum required monitor resolution
  • Maximum supported monitor resolution
  • Any other hardware/software requirements
  • Limitations related to specific graphics cards and/or their drivers
  • Limitations related to specific hosts
  • Limitations related to format (standalone, VST2, VST3)
Because there is no trial version and no free Custom Shop anymore, I can't find these things out for myself.

Peter, are you guys going to upload "Sampletank 4 MAX Instruments Part 2" again? The one I downloaded was corrupt and it's no longer listed in the downloads section... just part 1.

Peter, will there be added possibility to use mod-matrix for ST3/Syntronik content in upcoming update?

I have the sneaking suspicion that Syntronik going on deep discount is a prelude to a Syntronik v2 paid upgrade that will support the ST4 mod matrix. It seems insane that there’s no way to import the samples from Syntronik (or ST2/3) into a new ST4 patch and do it that way. But not surprising if IK sees an opportunity for users to pay again.

Maybe who knows, but i doubt IKM would be so *** to do that, people arent morrons. I mean its impossible not to add, even Directwave being 15 year old sampler has matrix and even older samplers (even free Zampler has it). It would be just to crazy to hear "engine limitations", because then IK would really think people are stupid, or if its true ST engine is really sh*t then

Yeah but who knows, when money is involved, companies can get all sorts of excuses to just squieeze every penny :)

They had the opportunity to do it with this release for the ST3 and Syntronik sounds - at the very least allow the ability to create new sounds from existing samples even if direct patch conversion is not realistic. But they are just samples. Consider that ST4 will import regular Wav/AIFF samples yet not the company's own compressed/encrypted .pak format. I think that should tell you something about their intentions.

On top of that, the AU version of 4.0.1 crashes Logic Pro X plugin manager, at least on my system. ... NOTHING is working here.
OK thats are all obviously Mac speciofic inconveniences. I always knew that Windows is simply the most reliable and rock solid plattform. :P
Here at least from the beginning EVERYTHING (except the little triplet display-bug) is working, so perhaps you should think about using a more reliable plattform  .

ummm, i'm on Windows. VST3 crashes on instantiation, the "triplicate" problem is there, the downloads for Windows version were corrupt (not so for Mac version!), plus there are numerous confirmed issues related to fonts and other stuff. i'm all for good Mac bashing, but you're on extremely shaky grounds here. 0/10
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

My guess would be we will soon see Syntronik Max. Good bet, like you stated they will update the whole shebang, but I have to believe a Max offering will also be there.

No , for sure here all windows downloads have been correct working from the beginning None of them corrupt at all. I installed and already used ST4 already with Dorico. The only but not that terrible important bug is what you mentioned first. The triplicate Display of patches. But I am confident 4.0.2. will solve that easily. So no trolling from my side at all. (While I wonder a bit how anyone would understand the statement to have no real problems - except the triplicate Patch-display- as "trolling tactics").

Sorry I realy dont understand anything of your answer at all. neither "2004" (did you noticed, that I joined here not befoire 2006 ???) nor "called" nor "asked for its trolling tactics".

It was your Mac bashing that earned the troll badge. I'm not a Mac fan but your post was trolling to Mac users and completely pointless.

Please understand "I didn't have any problems" does not equal "There are no problems".
