very cool song! vocals and synths are great, only thing is the kick is somewhat loud and compressed
and really pushing the limiter around the mid bass freq's.
i had to turn the volume down on my phones to really enjoy it and avoid fatigue,
but that, unfortunately also caused the dynamics to flatten.

yeah sounds amazing but the kick seems very odd, like it's not deep enough. I guess I just don't like the choice of kick sound. Other than that it's nice if not a little too simplistic sounding. Like maybe another element or two might make it more interesting. Also I am not one to talk about this, but a little more interesting/complicated melody might help it too.

The kick had a bit too much edge indeed, so I just EQ'd it down from that Freq-range. Anyway, thanks for the listens and comments. And well, I wanted it to be simple this time, but lets see, I'm taking all the advice into consideration.

Ok, I further tweaked this song, now when I woke up and listened it with a fresh pair of ears.
I took compressing down quiet a lot, did some vocal editing to get rid of the pops and clicks and some other smaller tweaks too.
I'm liking this a lot more, hope that you as well, cheers! =D

but for my own preference the kick/bass levels are still too
kick dominated. but thats just me.
i dunno, chime in here, ATS, what do you think?

Ok, yeah, it's a matter of taste - this is my usual thing, i.e. to let it be kick-dominated. But I might reduce the edges of the kick even a tad more. Anyway, yeah "Ymmärrys" turned out pretty nicely, glad you like it. It's in Finnish and means "Understanding". I shouldn't need to mention I make my music in Reason 10, but why not as I adore this DAW.
