You can't have movement without motion!!

They are both excellent and all the products on your list are must-haves, in my opinion!

Good work!

Well in terms of underlying synth engine they are mostly the same synth, motion has a more traditional synth interface with envelopes etc... and uses 2 XY Recorders. Movement on the other hand does away with that so that every parameter has a motion recorder and is much simpler to program due to a more or less single panel page. So in terms of what they generate they are wildly different, in Movement just about everything can be modulated and seen visually simultaneously. I don’t think there is really a one vs the other thing, but movement is certainly much easier to program which is why I made it. If you have Airwaves that uses the same system as Movement.

re: Logic X and VSTs, here’s another option.

...Does it have an AU MIDIFX version? I love Vice!
No, It doesn't.

One more way to take advantage from HGSounds's Kontakt Sequencers.
The standalone/plugin called Architec and developed by Loomer has his own way to implement AU midi fX capabilities.
It instantiates as an Instrument within Logic X and will deal with AU of course, but also VSTs, all inside his own architecture.
There's a thread over here about it atm and has a beta version available.
Its really powerful!

Many thanks again to Andy for this other "out of this world" GB!
Looking forward for the Midi ARP!

Edit - 1: You can also count Voltage Modular as HGSounds's Kontakt Sequencers contender for Mac users.
Nice match
:ud:
Edit - 2: Midi Arp is truly/really/cleverly great!

Thank you for taking part :)

I’m wondering about extending one more week or possibly two to see if we can get to the final level. It is still moving along, partly due to ARP Stream, but there are new people buying the GB too. There will still be a wait for the Drum Machine though, I need to psyche myself up for it and take a break. I’ve got a Digitone coming with the idea of creating some FM hits for for the Drum machine which seems the easiest option for programming FM currently, although I’m not sure if it can do inharmonic FM though.

Anyway what do people think? Part of me just wants it over with, but I’d love everyone to get everything too if there’s a chance.

3 to go until Midi ARP

If we could get to the last level, I'm all for it. I'd say too, take as much time as you need to do the Drum Machine. End of the year would be fine with me. I've got plenty to play with in the meantime.

Andy,

I am not going anywhere so yes extend the GB and see if it goes all the way.
If it makes sense here are my two cents!

I believe that the Midi Arp and Arp Stream may bring in some new people.

If you can make a really good sounding demo song on Arp Stream that may help get sales.

Andy,

Could you please give instructions on the fastest way to install all the Kontakt Group Buys.
I have a new PC and I also have three GB and want to know if there is a shortcut for installation.

You just need to unrar them all to a folder or copy your old folder to the new computer :)

If it was me? I would end it sooner than later. People have had a LONG time to jump in. The reason we have gotten this far is because some of us are willing (and thankful for the opportunity) to buy additional products to help the Group Buy along. We would be NOWHERE near the place we are without your generosity in making these additional purchases (of VERY useful and FUN stuff) available. If I was a betting man, which I am, :) I'd bet that no matter how long you extend it, you will need to come up with at least one more standalone product for sale, counting for the Group Buy numbers, to make the end. (I'd buy it for sure.)

I would suggest you take time to step away and rejuvenate your self with some well earned rest.

I am more than willing to see you spend more time (in the future) on developing the Drum Machine into a standalone product. If you decide to extend and we get it in the group buy? Great. But please know some of us are willing to buy it as a standalone (when it does come out) if that doesn't happen.

By the way, I would have bought every one of the products I did even if they were not part of a Group Buy effort. The fact that they count towards getting the "free" stuff is appreciated, but not an expectation. Each one is definitely worth the purchase without any bonuses involved.

Louis
