Which one is worthy of my voucher ?

All $29 bar Museq, so I can get one for $4 or Museq for $14

Museq - https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... museq.html
E646 VS - https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... 46_vs.html
Channel X - https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... nnelx.html
DrumXchanger - https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... anger.html

I'm thinking Channel X but I've already got the 6x-500 so maybe Museq ?

I'm demoing this and I really like the comp and the Preamp. Not sure how I feel about the EQ so far.

Museq is really nice. The resonant pass filters are lovely, as is the "Warm" slewrate mode.

But there's a lot more going on in Channel X if you're looking for bang for buck.

Are you comparing the EQ to other Pultec-style EQs or is that a new workflow for you?

I got the Lindell for 4 bucks, crazy really. It’s a very good channel strip especially the preamp and comp.

As you know they are console emulations. There are two aspects to that: a) the sound of the console, and b) the sound of the EQ and dynamics. Your best bet is to determine for yourself what is different. you can make it easier by splitting your listening and testing into those two camps. First, put an instance of one of them across all tracks in a project, with the EQ on and default settings across the board. render out one for each of N and E and one without and compare. that will inform you of the console sound. Then, various sources, mess with the dynamics and EQ on each of them to learn out those differ and what they sound like. One thing with these is the EQ has to be on to exhibit the console sound (saturation). The other aspect of these is they capture the workflow of the hardware console so you should RTFM to learn how the dynamics sections works and the routing for each. You'll have to make your own decision about them from there... :phones:

Listened to some demos and I really like what Museq adds sonically so ended up going for that as I've already got SSL channel strips and Scheps Omni Channel and while I do like 6x-500 I'm not sure I'd get as much use from the strip as I would something like Museq

I have a monthly voucher I want to use to get the ober synth. I was thinking of getting another product during the easter sale. Does anyone know if you can use 2 monthly vouchers in the same month? I'd buy the synth with one purchase and the other plugin with a second purchase. I am thinking of buying someone's monthly voucher to do this. Let me know what you know! :phones:
