FUSE AUDIO LABS BRINGS YOU THE VPRE-562A, A FAITHFUL EMULATION OF A RARE TUBE AMPLIFIER FROM THE EARLY 60S.

ON SALE FOR ONLY $29 UNTIL JUNE 22ND 2019! (REGULAR $69)

OH, BEHAVE!

Back in Time

The 562A is a rare all-tube amp built around the early 1960s. Originally designed as a PA amplifier but often re-purposed as a bass or guitar head by UK bands from that era, the 562A delivers its signature tone through a Mullard EF86 gain stage, ECC82 phase splitter and two 6L6 push-pull pentodes as well as custom input and output transformers.

Golden Sound

The plugin kicks serious life into your tracks, adding beautiful vintage vibes from the sixties or even some pleasing old school grit if needed. It rocks as a spice booster for guitar and bass, no matter if used stand-alone or in combination with a full-blown amp simulation. Precisely because of its vintage roots it's amazing how beautifully the 562A can beef up modern instruments, too.

Uncommon Options

With its unconventional EQ the VPRE-562A provides a wide variety of tone shaping flavors, while the Mic/Aux and Pre/PA selectors let you choose which combination of harmonics, presence, negative feedback and transformer-induced effects create the sound you're looking for. Cranking the gain leaves clean behind and adds an extra layer of authentic vintage overdrive.

Groovy, Baby!

The VPRE-562A surprises with a unique harmonic profile that sounds very much like some of what can otherwise only be achieved with outboard gear. It’s just perfect for adding color without sounding artificial. But, pushing it hard sounds great, too... If you're looking to add some beautiful sixties vibes to your projects, the 562A is a truly premium option.

THE STORY BEHIND THE VPRE-562A

The original unit was introduced to me by Dominik Klaßen. He’s among the few lucky guys who owns one of these rare devices. Returning from analog audio mastermind Roger Schult's, in order to have the hardware fully serviced, he brought it over here - and what can I say - this thing is a vintage beauty enclosed in a rock solid hammer paint outfit, fronted by 4 chicken head knobs and a red pilot light. Apparently, little had to be done given that it was in almost mint condition, both visually as well as electronically.

Scarce information was available regarding the history of the amplifier, except for what has been stated above, besides the fact that it was manufactured by a UK based company that ceased to exist in the late 70s. We were lucky enough to have the original schematics available.

I bought this last night, as you may know, and it satisfies.

Thanks for the heads-up...fixed.

Glad you're digging the plugin! :tu:

Absolutely wonderful as a guitar-amp - I just had to put Toneboosters EQ4 after it (instead of a cab sim - the dynamic function is quite helpful here) - it's really amazing - your best work so far I am inclined to say - certainly one of the best tube-amp sims out there. :hail:

This is a total no-brainer - especially at the intro-price - and a must-have!
"Preamps have literally one job: when you turn up the gain, it gets louder." Jamcat, talking about presmp-emulation plugins.

Sounds great when used with the new Nylon synth producing some nice dirty bass. Helped me to tame some peaks plus gave some nice saturation and, with the tone controls, really helped to place Nylon nicely in the mix. Bargain at 29 big phat American ones. Another top quality Fuse Audio plugin👌.

seems to remove a it of mud, and add a bit of sparkle.

one thing that gets to me about Fuse Audio plugins though, the GUI resize function is global for ALL Fuse Audio plugins!!
Can you please make it per instance or per plugin at least?

Hi sqigls,

We’ll change the UI mode setting to work per plugin in the future.

Best,
Ray

Not a major issue, but it would be helpful, for me at least, if you could also keep the current ALL Fuse Audio Plugins resize as an option.
