Just in the rare case any here on KVR is a bit serious about music there was a post from the creator of this tool on a more serious forum ( :D :D :D ).
I feel a bit bad since i started this thread. Most threads are wrecks here these days.

"Hi everyone, I'm the creator of the Straylight.
The granular engine allows very detail control of the grain cursor. You can select if the cursor should move smoothly through the waveform or strictly follows the position modulation with immediate changes. You can define the direction of the cursor when you release the note, the cursor can be synced to the host clock which allows for transition / effects sounds which can be played polyphonically and are in time. So you can define the "color" of the riser / transition with the chord you play.
But, the unique feature of the product is the sample content which fits the granular use case and was explicitly recorded and processed for the product."

KVR really has turned into a parody of itself.

Thanks for posting that Cinebient.

I like what I hear. Hopefully they are planning to offer additional sample content of the same quality :tu:

Soniccouture does the same with their (excellent) Haunted Spaces: two additional soundpacks released so far (for additional Euros)...

Yeah Marketing shit again. And 150 bucks for something where you cannot just import your samples....overpriced romplercrap.
Will get when it is in k13 ultimate.

yeah you moaned about that a few pages ago.

All i know is I really dig that GUI.
And the instrument was clearly not made to import your own shxtty samples, you're paying mostly for the samples themselves.

indeed. almost every thread about effects, instruments, daws and libraries turns into a fault-finder wanking nightmare.

I think most of the hate is coming from the fact that this is 'just' a rompler, not being able to dive into it deeper with sample import. I indeed think they made a mistake not allowing that, imagine the possibilities opening wide if we could.

there is always a "reason" for everything, of course. behind that there is a lot of frustration that doesn't have much, if anything to do with music production: everyone finds the right tools to get into a nice flow for sure, but ... . i'm tired of this and so i use mainly the buy and sell section, but it makes me sad too not to get much information in pseudo informatory threads.

cheers :borg:

Yeah, faking quotes is backing your argument... :dog:

Oh God, beware us of zealots not understanding irony and not knowing famous quotes, please!
