Hi!
My Omnisphere is empty and all the sounds in the library are gone. Ableton told me to relocate the STEAM folder so I clicked on one of the folders called STEAM in my Omnispehere folder, but now I get the error message that Ableton can't open the STEAM folder. Did I pick the wrong one or does anyone know what the problem is?
I can't try the other STEAM folders to see if they work, since i relocated the folder by clicking from a popup window which doesn't pop up anymore. Now only the error message pop up. Does anyone know if there's another way to relocate the folder?
Omnisphere lost the location of the working steamfolder while i downloaded the steam folder to Trilian, another Spectrasonic VST. Maybe that gives some clues. But I don't understand.
Help would be very appreciated, can't find anything on google and all my project files with omnispehere sounds are broken now I have mac btw.

I don't quite follow this, but it sounds to me like you've created multiple STEAM folders where you should only have one. The file structure should have STEAM at the top, followed then by Omnisphere, Trilian and Keyscape (if you have it) subfolders. So "downloading the STEAM folder to Trilian" sounds like you've created a second STEAM folder within a Trilain folder or something.
You may be able to move things about in the OS to get it back to where it was, but its very hard to advise without seeing what state it is in. I'd contact Spectrasonics support, and let them talk you through it. All your patches should be safe and sound in there somewhere.

^^
Do a computer search for STEAM and take a look at the content...may help. In the end there should just be one that’s the good one, and that should help you discern. And ^^ the post above.
