No user wavetables. There's a very deep selection of wavetables coming with MX, and with each you can use about 100 different warping modes, when all options are taken into account. You have millions of possible sounds without even touching a filter.
(Oh, and it's not a Reaktor synth and you WILL need a powerful CPU for it. Just like you had to with the original Massive when it was released.)

Hehe, i was surprised when i tried Massive 1 for the first time. Didn't expect it to be so taxing.
It's equally taxing as some plugins released long after it.
Anyway, i still hope that it doesn't smoke my rather old CPU.

Have any Massive X beta users had a play with Phase Plant (10 day demo https://kilohearts.com/products/phase_plant ) I am just wondering how they compare (As I really like what I am hearing and seeing in PP)
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

If it's so old that it doesn't have AVX, it won't even run.
DSP in this thing is state of the art. You can FM a wavetable with another wavetable, while doing FM on both wavetables simultaneously AND sweeping them, and it's clean af.

Should not bring it down, but you should probably OC it to 4 GHz if possible

i totally agree with this, and despite me having a HUMONGOUS amount of respect for dragon, we don't usually agree. i think super8 is under rated. it's NI version of strobe.EvilDragon wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 6:54 pm Form is cutting edge. Super 8 is just as great in getting the vintage analog sound as Repro-5, just a different flavor of it.

Are you sponsored by NI or why are you writing such a bullshit here?EvilDragon wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 6:54 pm Form is cutting edge. Super 8 is just as great in getting the vintage analog sound as Repro-5, just a different flavor of it.

Well... considering he does Kontakt scripting as a day job (AFAIK), i guess it is understandable that there's a little bias.
Even though i don't think i'll ever understand those shill accusations. It doesn't get any less silly, the more frequently it is being repeated.

Evil Dragon just happens to believe in NI's products. I do too. I own just about everything short of a few things. The only reason I won't be getting Massive X is because I feel I have everything that I could possibly need to simply make music. After spending close to 8 grand the last 2 years each, this year I've spent under $800 so far, and most of that was on Voltage Modular stuff. I truly just don't need anything anymore. But NI stuff is excellent. I don't think there's any arguing that. At least that's my opinion anyway.PietW. wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 8:28 pmAre you sponsored by NI or why are you writing such a bullshit here?EvilDragon wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 6:54 pm Form is cutting edge. So if you don't agree with something it's immediately bullshit? Compelling argument, there, no question about it.PietW. wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 8:28 pmAre you sponsored by NI or why are you writing such a bullshit here?EvilDragon wrote: Fri May 31, 2019 6:54 pm Form is cutting edge.
