most FM synths excell at those sounds. trail an arpegiator to the output of one and go to town.
HW SYNTHS [KORG T2EX - AKAI AX80 - YAMAHA SY77 - ENSONIQ VFX]
HW MODULES [OBi M1000 - ROLAND MKS-50 - ROLAND JV880 - KURZ 1000PX]
SW [CHARLATAN - OBXD - OXE - ELEKTRO - MICROTERA - M1 - SURGE - RMiV]
DAW [ENERGY XT2/1U RACK WINXP / MAUDIO 1010LT PCI]

are you talking about the fast high pitch lead type sounds?

if so, i wouldnt make those with synths at all. in my exp. arped synths dont give you that super clean high-tech sound, they get a bit messy. you can make those out of just about any sample, super easy. heres how:

take a sample...cut the ends off it so you just have a small section from the middle...you only need 1/8 or 1/16...then just copy paste it for 4 or 8 bars. then you go and remove some so you have the stops and starts in a pattern you like. once you have that go back and start pitch shifting some of them up and down to your liking.

heres a track i did using that technique. you can skip ahead to 2:19 to hear it best.

layzer:
I test it with a arpeggiator on the output, but don't really sound as it should.

At the moment i'm testing the Lazerbass

chaosWyrM:

Your sounds exactly what I'm looking for. But I'm new here and don't understand how to cut and pitch/shifting the sampler. Can you explan that a bit more?

dont use a sampler for this...use audio clips. i only use the sampler to get the section of sound i want. then i export it to an audio clip and throw a bunch of those in there, you can then pitch shift each clip individually. it sounds way more complicated than it is. here this guy made a video tutorial explaining how it works. youll have to adjust a little for fl studio, but its easy...thats what i use.

keep in mind too, that while doing it this way works pretty well dry, youll probably want to add some effects to spice it up a bit and add some motion to it. just dont go crazy with them...the potency of these sounds lie in their crispness, so no reverbs or crazy delays. trigger, flange, phase, and time stretch fx work best, again, used sparingly.

Bro use Serum Vst
Select init preset,
In the first osc A select: light metal 1
Change wt pos 142.
Down -2 octave. (Oct -2)

Activate the filter and select HP12 or LP12 play and record the cuttoff.

This is the hard part dude

Midi1: in the piano roll note c2 1/16 and draw, reduce some notes with 1/32

Midi2: in the piano roll put only one lenght note c2 if you want, add to the fx (midi gater or arpeggiator ) set up 1/16 play and record with the gater.

Flatten and freeze your vst (or export and import wav sound in your project) cut (destroy)duplicate some parts for better control in your leads. Practice and more practice dude its not easy but not imposible.
Add fabfilter (or any eq) with a 24db high cut.
