Yeah.. Like I have Rammfire. Do I add Guitar Rig or just ignore it? Technically Rammfire gives me like 1/20th of Guitar Rig lolDavias wrote:There is a bunch of plugs that are not in the DB, or version number doesn't match because the dev didn't upload kvr db.
I was using it before the look change. Useful to keep track of your stuff and to be aware of new updates, nice also to have a global vision of all the banks released on KVR for all the products you own.
Sadly it is a little bit boring when you product is not listen, or have no version numbers. One should be able to enter a product in the DB if it is missing I think
anyone using the MY KVR feature?

Giving it a whirl here. Looks very promising - especially the "current version" feature. Could definitely use better choices for bundles (MFreeEffectsBundle, Plug&Mix VIP, etc.). But, heck, it's a beta, and good enough at this point to at least show where they're heading with it.
Studio One Pro 3.3 and PT 12.6 on Win 8.1 Pro, i7-3930k, Sabertooth x79, 16GB G.Skill 2133, Lynx Hilo, Eleven Rack, Chandler TG2, Liquid Channel, Mojave MA-200, Focal CMS65s. Oh, and a "few" guitars...

Would love to see when someone uploads a preset bank for my fav instrument/developer.
All I've ever really gotten from setting it up is a bunch of messages every time IK Multimedia uploaded another damn video for an iDevice.
I too have had some trouble figuring out the difference between some of the sections. For example, why do I need to list things in the "I Want This" area? That only seems useful to advertisers who will then target me.Jace-BeOS wrote:Well I tried, but it's terribly cluttered an non-intuitive. Plus, there's the duplication of every product that's cross platform. A system like this should be simple. It's not even easy to find it or look at it. Overblown and under-useful. Sorry.
Oh, and I see the front page performance has returned to miserable on iPhone.
Oddly enough, I went to check "My KVR" just now, and found my "subscription is inactive". I also found that "My KVR" is still in beta. It's been...what, two years now?
I'll keep monitoring this thread, to see if I see where I'm going wrong on this. It seemed like a nice idea, but I honestly thought they gave up on it months ago.

What is the process for reporting a product that is missing from the database? For example.. I've been unable to find Sausage Fattener. =]
In general, I'd have to say that MyKVR is pretty handy for keeping up with version updates. It was a bit tedious to get set up at first, but worth it in the end.
Edit: Missing a few Image Line synths too: Sakura, Sawer, and Toxic Biohazard.

A problem in delete products:
There is a list which shows products that you have included in for example I Own This.
From the list you can check some products and then delete them.
The problem is: these list items do not mention whether the product is Mac or PC version.
So most products are listed twice and you don't know which one to delete.

No. No matter what I type in to add a product it finds Nothing. I can type the product, manufacturer, even just a letter or two and it would always pull up something until the other day. I also have not been notified of any updates in several weeks, although I have almost 300 products added to MyKVR, and at least 5-10 have had updates in the last 3 weeks...because KVR notified me via email.
I was last able to add products around December 3rd.
Edit- I still can't add new products, but ODDLY I did get a notice of updates just now.

The product search is now fixed. Sorry about that.
I don't know why you didn't receive update notifications. Do you mean the email notification or the updates drop down on every KVR page?

The updates drop down seemed not to work. However, my time frame may be skewed because I was a way for a week. It might have only been two weeks. But things seem to work now. Will check the product search...thanks!
