It’s not that common for software actually. A lot of people are just disappointed by Massive X for some very legitimate reasons. I’m more shocked by all the people trashing those expressing disappointment with MX and claiming they aren’t an expert enough so their opinion doesn’t count or something. I’ve seen a few videos with poor reviews and while I couldn’t care less about the aliasing stuff, there are plenty of criticisms someone might like to hear about before trying or purchasing.

There's a difference between a criticism and rant videos with clickbait titles like 'MX big disappointed and why you should uninstall it'. The latter is for dudes who are angry, they can't deal with their problems and they project anger on anything what is actually popular and what can't defend itself directly. Like I said, it's common for video games (frequently mixed with politics).
Today any beatmaker with DAW and PC act like he have a PhD in Sound Engineering/Acoustics/Software development. They're not the best source of information

That's the impression I've been getting. Get on YouTube, do lots of cranky rants on a regular basis, and rake in the ad revenue. That seems to be the basic formula a lot of folks are using.

You can even find instruction/tutorials how to make your own rant videos to boost views

I think it's a likely scenario, though. Never underestimate the idiotism on sites like Youtube.

Equating it to a comparison of a color of a synth shows how highly he considers the topic.

I just used the extreme example of idiocy that is already on Youtube. Just change Massive X with movie title and NI with a movie director and you can find tons of videos with sentences like this.

If you and were to have a real conversation, chances are that you and I will agree with each other. In this posting of non-specifics, while I'm replying to something VERY specific, I agree that you and I don't need to go down that path, because again... I'm very sure you and I will find that we agree with each other. Due to a lack context its easy to confuse meaning.

Now I've said how I feel about his comments. I'm not and will not be a fan of people making light of what is happening, what is being experienced and I'm not going to go into details in a topic that is more slated for HPC than a Massive topic, but these things should not be made fun of much in the same way people do need to understand exactly what IS real and that's inclusive of anything you've been through as well.
