Bitcrushed drums from Tron Legacy Soundtrack

I was listening to Tron Legacy soundtrack, hearing these amazing sounding bitcrushed drums, and quick Googling says that they were using OTO Biscuit. Now, I have a few bitcrushers, but nothing that sounds so... smooth?

I know that Softube has their OTO Biscuit, but I'm wondering what else can get me there? I'm thinking Dent 2 or Byome? What is it about this particular sound that is so different?
