Im looking for a bass synth and I have narrowed my choices to these two. Anybody have experience with either or both, can shed light on their strengths and differences etc?

what's going to happen next is this: people who own either one are going to explain why that one is better. people who've tried neither will explain why you don't need a dedicated bass synth. others will chime in who have no idea what this thread is about... :D

are there demos? try both, see what feels/works best for you.

i have sublab, am using it a lot. but i am sure that, if i'd bought subboom 2... i'd use that a lot.

try them.

I own SBB 2 and tried Sublab. I didn't like Sublab. I also have Drum Designer which I think is top notch. Very nice 808s and subs.

I have eXplorer5 and SubLab and Ignite 808 Studio.
I thought SubBoomBass2 sounds are natural and soft. But quite good bass vst.
SubLab is Killer. SubLab has agressive and dirty sounds for Bass Banger.
But sometime little bit heavy cpu usage.
I need some agressive effects for 808 Bass.JPG
