I like it as a backing but it is screaming for a lead line, a solo. Probably Bill Sharpe on synth or even Chris Rea on Guitar. That will transition it from shimmery-pleasing but forgettable to engaging.

Thanks ….. If I can come up with a lead I'll post a revised version.

Hi Karma

I am sorry to say but I don't like it at all. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. This is a classic Bill Sharpe track
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrGcdnZ_rWc
Note how he has a great lead line that flows and drives the whole piece. You could take off the lead instrument and vocals and people would say it was nice but forget it instantly, or with the leads that leap out and engage us, it becomes a classic. Your track has the backing but not the lead parts.

None of the parts are complex as such, but they flow and fucus the listener so well.

HMMM...…...OK . I usually don't re-visit my tracks and to be honest I'm kinda tired of this one. By the time I finish a track I'm usually sick of it, but maybe I'll give it another go. :)

I totally trashed the track trying to make it something it was not. I never heard of Bill Sharpe or Chris Rea, not only am I not on their level but my song was melancholy where as the represented track was high energy. By trying to fit a round peg into a square hole I ruined what was already a sub par piece. Hence deleted from SoundCloud and KVR.
