Unfiltered Audio Lion

Yeah, that's not an excuse but the actual situation. I'm just returning from a week-long vacation and saw the NI news at around 4 AM during one of the baby shifts.
We turned in the final installer a week ago. Right now, we would be forced to choose between:
1) Build a new installer without NKS support. PA's QA team would require a new round of testing to make sure that everything works correctly. This would be about a 1 week delay. QA would then need to schedule a second full testing round for the NKS-ready installers.
2) Wait for NI to approve the NKS files with the current installer. As Dirk said, we're looking at about two weeks for that to get released.
At this point, it just makes more sense to wait the extra week and get the full package released at once instead of spinning up another QA process and tying up their team.
The good news is that LION is finished otherwise. It's going to release with close to 600 presets.

Good to hear that! But maybe in the meantime you could put up some videos, some more audio samples, the manual? I'm assuming that was ready and LION was supposed for immediate release if it wasn't for the NI situation...thelizard wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 1:13 pmAt this point, it just makes more sense to wait the extra week and get the full package released at once instead of spinning up another QA process and tying up their team.

i'm especially interested in those granular oscillators. can i load my own samples in it, or is it like Reason's amazing Maelstrom synth which uses 'graintables"?
and more videos & more audio samples would be wonderful also.

I can definitely post the manual: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qswckl9cngyki ... l.pdf?dl=0
There are some great video walkthroughs and audio demos coming out with the release. I don't want to step on anybody's toes by releasing those ahead of time.

Edit: what is going on under the Stereo Mode header on p22?! Did I not get the memo?

You know what else would soften the blow of the delay? If maybe new betas of BIOME/TRIAD showed up in their respective threads with an implemented wide-mode.
Can't blame me for trying right?

Hah, dammit! I was using new typesetting software (Affinity Publisher) and had some placeholder text on the templates. Looks like Wavefold and Harmonic mode will synthesize Latin gibberish for you.PieBerger wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 2:43 pmThanks!thelizard wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 2:40 pm I can definitely post the manual: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qswckl9cngyki ... l.pdf?dl=0

owning all unfiltered audio plugins (first i was into glitchmachines and that was the way i discovered UA, on their own all great and combined... who needs a synth...) and the euroreakt pack, i was wondering if LION will add some possibilities. it seems so.
i will wait, no other synth at this moment, that i haven't got.. does it for me, the LION looks to be the one (in the matrix..).

Thanks, but I was thinking about the more generic videos that are posted with the Product over at PA, not user-reviews / overviews or anything of the sort. Oh well, the manual will have to do in the meantimethelizard wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 2:40 pm I can definitely post the manual: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qswckl9cngyki ... l.pdf?dl=0
