Can the licence be installed on a Propellerheads 'ignition key' - which I believe is Codemeter?

Post

If v1.4.10 would be the most stable thing on earth I'd agree. Seeing the past of your update history, I disagree.

Is the "Online" part only for one-time activation ?
More BPM please

Bonus question Manuel - is it still planned to be able to have two activations per license?

with codemeter we can keep the current 3 activations per user. (elicenser would have be 1)
And then the "too many activations" popup will no longer be a problem, since you can manage your machines yourself in Codemeter.

Will we be able to activate 1.4.10 in the future, say, if we buy a new computer?

I personally will not be updating to 1.5. The very first thing I consider when purchasing new software is the copy protection mechanism, and as great as Avenger is, I would not have bought it new if it was using Codemeter (or iLOK, or some other protection mechanisms that I avoid).

I fully respect the right of the software developer to protect their software, by the means of their choice, but I also have the right to choose to buy software based on my own criteria.

Thanks much for any response.

And another bonus question : Do future XP's need 1.5 to run, so also need Codemeter ?

yes of course
Do future XP's need 1.5 to run
yes, expansions released by us prior 1.5. will base on 1.5. (not speaking for 3rd party developers, they can do whatever they want). We will of course use the new features, like Vintage Filters or Guitar Module

That's well said. I think you made the best you could do to use a solution that doesn't force anyone to use a dongle.

If some people are unhappy, they can sell their license and go elsewhere, instead of threatening you with lawyers. That's pretty shameful...

2. Noone is forced to update.

What's with the ill-informed extremism here?
Seems like CodeMeter doesn't work properly on some machines, that's why.
