That my mom didn't have to go to the hospital. Yeah, it's a sad life

That's great!

It wasn't nearly as serious, but my mom once completely lost her hearing in one ear. Gone. None, whatsoever.

She went to her doctor and found out her ear was filled with wax. Ugh. A few minutes and her problem was taken care of.

I'm glad there are remedies for more serious hearing issues.

I just wish something could be done about tinnitus. :scared:
Good old tinnitus.Have a spot of that in my 'good' ear. I was hoping it would be wax when I saw the doc but it turned out to be this mess. I'll be seeing about tinnitus after this. Xanax helps for some reason.

Ash gave the cat room (otherwise known as a mud room if we didn't have cats) a good cleaning, as you can see they have plenty to play with, and yes it is necessary for my kitties to have a Mesa Boogie 1/2 stack :hihi:

Actually about 6" of the wall by the doorway I'm standing in is on the same wall as my studio...the plan for the last year and a half is to mount a box on both walls so I can have a mic/speaker matrix...but alas I'm still using the iso cab

edit: also note there is a plush toy guitar in front of my 1x12 for the kitties :hihi:

Well, only one thing :hihi:

The CUTEST little bear boy was the nurse to my dad today. He was probably sick of my staring at him

Anyways, it's not just a homo thing, it's how I wish I looked. Ok, now I turned that into a bad thing

Call me f-ing Macgyver!

Yesterday I went to the DIY store to get a few cheap supplies. I spent $7.02.

I went home and cobbled together a touch sensor edge finder for my router. :hihi:

And yes, there are Christmas lights involved.

Sorry, no paperclips. :(

I already had the standard edge finder and 1-2-3 block and batteries.

I just received an email telling me that my ISP is upping my DL speeds by 25% to 500Mb/s at no charge.

Upload is going from 10Mb/s to 15 Mb/s, which is still embarrassingly slow, but at least they're finally upgrading it for the first time since I've been with them.

Might be a coating on the metal. Anodisation on aluminium isnt conductive, for example.

Yup.

Although, there are movie light connectors that the pins are anodized aluminum. That always confused me. :nutter:

Note to self : do not search for these online while at work.
