Here we go with something a little different from me, a trip into the hybrid orchestral soundstage.

Nice work!

Definitely the soundtrack genre for me. It feels like adventure.

Nice chord progression, interesting that you added vocals. The percussion is kind of halfway between cinematic and regular electronic. Good production, overall liked it :tu:

Very big sound. I could imagine this on Hearts of Space or Musical Star Streams. I'm curious about the vocals. Were those samples? Dug it.

Nicely done, agree it sounds like a soundtrack; I could imagine this working in a videogame context. I'm getting a new age vibe as well, particularly from the vocal. The addition of guitars helps make it feel pretty epic.

Thank you all. The vocals came from the Ethera bundle I picked at Time + Space over the summer. For the horn section, I used Spitfire Albion but layered this with a synth horn patch from Omnisphere that I mixed quite low with the actual horn sample to give it a little more depth.

To be honest the vocals were a complete accident as I had a female singer in mind but was surprised to stumble across male vocals in one of the packs. They fitted so well with the concept that I ended up going down this route.

For the mixing, I abandoned my normal process and used plugins from Tom Frampton's 'mastering the mix' bundle.

Nice. Would make a nice companion to another piece of your I know with a similar voice ;-)

Thanks Benedict. I may have to set up a duet

You should get into doing production music. Very well done.

Thank you both. I do provide a few tracks for media libraries and keep hoping for that big break. Perhaps one day......

Some interesting sound choices which work well together.

The percussive sounds are a little buried and could definitely be pulled further forwards in the mix - especially as they seem to patter across the speakers. I think that some of their impact is also lost due to resonant buildup in the lower-mid frequencies.

Wow, I really like how well you matched the music to the imagery. A very enjoyable listen/watch
