Do you mean the MH Dirty Delay?
Yes I do, sorry

Aye. :)

Totally agree, by the way. Not sure how they sell it for $179 originally. It's nothing special, in my opinion. Actually, i'm close to uninstalling it again. It does nothing what my other delays don't do better. And, no easy ping pong implementation gets immediate minus points from me as well.

I'm with you on all points. It's a lot of cash for what it is. I installed it and really tried to like it but like you said, there are other delays (some free) that just kill it.

I saw some people using it as a saturation plugin. Turn the delay off and just use their saturation FX. Anyone tried that?

I've not tried that and I do remember the saturation sounding okay but I have better plugins for that also,SDRR being one of them. If I'm honest I think the workflow of the plug put me off more than anything. Just not for me at all.

I'll give it a go later.

At $179, they're crazy. For $15, sure...if you don't have a delay. This is the price I was talking about when I said, "worth the price." However, I'm having a second opinion, even after getting it free. Lol.
H-delay sounds better right out of the box compared to Dirty.
...and the electron responded, "what wall?"

Its free at the moment at JRR Shop
I wonder what happens if I press this button...

The real beauty of H-Delay is that it is simple and fast to get great results. I don't like tweaking tons of parameters when I'm mixing. I think that is why 1176 and LA-2A comps are so popular. Minimal controls give you super fast setup to get a good sound. That's my reason for using H-Delay the most. I did get the MH dirty delay yesterday but have not had time to mess with it. Possibly another flavor to use in the future if H-Delay isn't the right tool for the job.

Absolutely right. That was also the main reason for my impulse buy (and, that it was only 25 € for me :)). I might have sounded too negative before, i like H-Delay, but, sometimes i wished i could dial out that saturation.

How about ValhallaDelay for $50? Lots of flavors...

H-delay is fine for a reasonable price, if not, "echoboy" is the ultimate delay. Sorry if it's not on sale...........

That is indeed part of the charm. It has just enough options to make it flexible tonally without burying it in too many options.
