Like it! Got a bit of that feel of mid-80s New Order or The Cure, which is always good in my book.

Quality track. Great sense of space. The sound is totally 3d. And that gritty bass is scrumptious. The contrast between that and the strings is eerie and powerful. Then you hit me with the toms. Damn what a great track I'm jealous as fark.

If I had to make a criticism it'd be that I felt like there could have been a few little percussive flourishes/fills here and there, but then that might have created the expectation that something new would come immediately after, when the track was meant to be a slow build up. Anyway, a quality piece of work :tu:
Hey thank you very much for listening. I really appreciate your comment and glad you like it :tu:
I was actually thinking about adding some interest to the main drums so you have definitely got a point there.

Very good. Only outstays it's welcome by a minute or so, this would be alleviated by the use of a bridge to provide contrast. otherwise perfect.

Thank you very much sjm, really appreciate the listen and feedback :tu:

That snare sounds cool. What kind? Doesn't sound like one I have in my collection anywhere. Mix is great. Arrangement is great. Nice strings. All in all, very well done. Nothing to criticize here. Any plans for the track or just doing this for fun?
Hey thank you Wags for the glowing review, it means a lot  The snare is just in a sample pack I lifted from a CM library I think. The same for the kick drum and ran through Sitala. Apart from the Strings and Choir everything else is Thorn. No plans for it really, just for fun. Unless somebody fancies using it on/for something then I'm all for that of course :hihi:

"The Fickle": Nice guitar start - but the "intro-clean-guitar" part
is a bit long. Maybe this "long intro" is important to develop that
atmosphere. Though for being "fickle" I would expect more changes
and alterations of the musical parts. But maybe the "Fickle Luster"
in general is meant by your song? :)

I really love the atmosphere on this track, easy to get lost and drift away - nicely done! There's not a lot going on harmonically, and my mind tends to tune out if the composition rests on a single riff, as inspired as it may be in this case (the guitar theme is lovely). It didn't matter that much here, because you've constructed a very hypnotic buildup that pulled me in and sustained interest.
This would be a great closing-credits theme song. Good job!
