This is very close to my ears... but it is 32 bit and would need to bridged to work in 64 bit hosts. This one is $15 USD
Also the Arturia Spark has an Simmons Emulation which is pretty good too. Spark is $150.
Arturia also sells Spark VDM which includes the Simmons emulation for $99.00. You can find it here and there is an audio demo if you scroll to it.

Yea isn't it great? I recently made a demo of the FX version that comes with Polyana. This is Polyana FX processing electric guitar. https://soundcloud.com/smh2600/admiral- ... b-on-stratnichttuntun wrote:SMH wrote:Check out the 4 demos that say 'including drums' http://www.admiralquality.com/poly-ana-demos/
I own the PolyAna and this thing is absolutely amazing! Sure...can make drums with it.
This is also great:
AudioDamage / Axon2
And absolutely dope as a pure synthesized drum machine is this baby:
SONIC CHARGE / Mircotonic
Sorry no drum demos yet. I will try to work on one.

Simplest and best way to get THE Simmons sound is... using a Simmons. My experience as a Simmons owner

I was programming a Simmons-like drum sound on a normal subtractive synth today. But it seems I have to sign up with a service like SoundCloud in order to post it here, right? No built-in audio player on KVR?

Again: As close as possible is Aly James Lab VSDS-X Simmons emu for Mac and PC (both 64Bit now).
I bought it and find it phenomenal.
