one of my all time fave films :tu:
I have DVD collection of the film with a lot of extra material which was interesting.
I didn't know the film was banned for a long time in UK, as one thing.
Really good film with a lot of layers. :)
I didn't know that it was ever banned. I thought it was withdrawn by Kubrick ....

well they wanted to edit the rape scene out, the film release board whatever they're called
and he obviously refused and said he wouldn't release. so a bit of both i guess.

There are letters all through those images of drums and mics etc...
I can clearly see the W, and there's also an F, A, R and an M too.
Don't know what it means, but someone might.

Just a thought. Maybe the W is not the first letter.

A lot of orchestral instruments arise, and think a femail vocalist siluett thingy, lots of faders and also a lot of 'W's, so could be more than one in a word/name.

Started sequence with a keyboard on a stand. If this is a charades game - could be significant.

To bother with this game - it got to be big - I hope. So it does not end with a fart.

So something like Prophet X - a giant sampler workstation of some sort.

Aliens saw more letters like 'F', 'A', 'R' and came to think of Fairlight.

But 'WI' in there is a mystery still....

Could be, but then it could be anything lol
There is also FX in there somewhere too, so you're probably on the right track.
Maybe it's a combined sampling desk/recorder.
