The CLA2A is a model of a famous optical compressor.
In Ableton look for a compressor with Optical or Opto in the name. There may also be an Opto or optical mode within a general purpose compressor or even a preset that gets you a little closer.
I don't use Ableton, maybe someone who does can give you better advice.

I think the free Klanghelm stuff can you get you close even though they are not LA2A emulations. They can do a similar one knob thickening/smoothing kind of thing. Try MJUC Jr for example and see if it gets you the results you're after.

What does la2a actually means?

It's a particular unit from the 1960s that has stood the test of time because it sounds great and is very easy to dial in. It does a great job of leveling things in a smooth and transparent way. These days we can level things using tons of tools, but the LA2A remains an elegant and simple solution to level mid-speed things like vocals. Many plugin makers have created emulations.
If you are researching vocal compressors, here are other names that might come up

Another vote for S.L.A.X., Leveling tool and both Klanghelm free compressors. Also, there's TDR Kotelnikov, it's a clean compressor but it's "RMS half" can work like an Opto compressor.

Going to suggest picking up Waves LA2 for $29. I find the waves compressors to be worth its space on drive and money. I hate music production protection schemes but for some reason Waves has not given me an issue.

i can recommend the ultimate channel strip from mcdsp, it‘s on sale at everyplugin.com. the plugin offers about 10 different compressors, two opto style ones among them, + eqs and distortion effects. if you only want some compressor options and save some cash, go with the ultimate compressor, which is also on sale at everyplugin.com. cheers!
