Yeh, the distinctive Wasp sound really comes from the filter, you can pick up a WASP filter in Eurorack for £70 new...this was always the advantage of Eurorack over these full synth modules, once you have lfo, adsr, amp etc you don’t need to keep buying it.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I think it does nail the sound - and I have to disagree with the opinion that the filter is the main thing. There's more than a little of that old Combo Organ tones in the basic waveforms. The waveshaping doesn't perfectly track the keyboard and there is a background whine from the DCO key select scanner. I'm not sure if the whine is fully present in this clone (purely midi control may have made the keyboard scanner redundant). You'd have to stop playing and turn up the volume - something that demonstrators never do.

I like the sound of the Wasp, but it has a very singular tone and if it was your only synth, I think you'd soon get sick of that.
