Yeah, reverb is super dense and smooth. Definitely at the same level as Valhalla verbs.

Here's one for both Tranzistow and Diodow users. A brief tutorial on using these synths' envelopes to produce kick drum subs. The Tranzistow ZIP includes 206 presets, and given the smaller number of envelope stages in Diodow, the 62 presets that had five stages or less were duplicated for it:
For Tranzistow:

08 TZ Kicks-180207.zip
For Diodow:
http://vze26m98.net/tranzistow/09%20DW% ... 180208.zip
09 DW Kicks-180208.zip
There's a small tutorial file that overviews the setup of the presets, which are actually the same, except for changes in the amplitude and pitch envelope data.

Okay, I'm sure it's there right in front of me, but does anyone know how to access Tranzistow's FilterA "Side Input" and "Side Level"?

Filter A Side Level is to find here for example:cturner wrote:Okay, I'm sure it's there right in front of me, but does anyone know how to access Tranzistow's FilterA "Side Input" and "Side Level"?
Menu Matrix 16

Thanks @teacue, I appreciate your looking. I was exploring one of the factory presets and started to read the data file. I'm unable to locate parameters from the file in the interface. I think it's complicated though. I re-saved a factory preset, and compared it with the original. There are quite a few changes, yet it sounds the same. Seems I might never learn to make my own "Analog Kick 2"!teacue wrote:Filter A Side Level is to find here for example:

Filter side inputs/levels are on Mixer/FM page (right-click that button, it's the second hidden page).

Excellent! Don’t know how I missed it. Thanks so much @EvilDragon.EvilDragon wrote:Filter side inputs/levels are on Mixer/FM page (right-click that button, it's the second hidden page).

Big thanks to these! I was trying tranzistow, and it has amazing sound, but could not get forward with own sound design. With your tutorials, now I can get forward.cturner wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 11:26 am A re-post of the links to my Tranzistow tutorials:

Format how you share your tutorials is not very handy: search engines cannot find them, and using them if bit painful. As a web page or text file, directly readable would be more user- and search engine-friendly.

You’re welcome! I’m glad they were of value to you. WRT to their visibility and readability, I believe there are plans to improve the situation.

Yeah, got few steps forward, but using Wavetables / Sample Osc is mystery. I can load wav to main Osc, but can't get sound out of it. What should be main osc type be, and what to select for Waveform?

Apologies, but I’d request you ask your question here:

In the short term, there are simply more eyes looking at the thread there.
Best, C.

So i got the updated Diodow (2019 11 24) but now theres a little problem.
In the previous version there used to be a 'SampleLoop' button on the secondary Oscillators / Sound tab.
(The page that shows when you click the tab a second time.)
This button could be toggled to switch between oneshot and loop mode.
Now there is a 'PitchExp' button in its place and 'SampleLoop' seems to be gone entirely.
As a consequence WAVs are now only playable as oneshots since loop can no longer be enabled.
Ive tried the usual SHIFT, CTRL, ALT clicking routine to see if any other page comes up but to no avail.
So is sample loop gone for good now, or was it a mistake, or is there some special trick i didnt think of?
Any info appreciated.
PS: I have checked 'Description of parameters' for Diodow on the website but there is nothing new/different under Sample Engine. (The 4x Oscillators section was updated to include the new PitchExp feature but nothing with regard to where SampleLoop has gone.)

OK, i kinda 'ran into it' by sheer accident.
To answer my own question: The buttons to loop a WAV loaded into the oscillators are still there, but they are now on the secondary page of the Filters/LFOs tab, (when you click the tab a second time), next to LFO#1, LFO#2, etc. (Beats me what they are doing there, but thats where they are.)
Just in case anyone else wonders.

Qfm question. Let's say i want 4 "carriers" straight to the amp. Without modulation. In Fm8 you would connect these with lines to the amp. But after init in tranzistow only operator 1 is audible. And i can't figure out how to make the other operators audible (like 4 carriers straight to the amp without modulation) is tranzistow depended on the algorithms to make the carriers active? Or have i missed something? And another question. Let's say i chose a dx7 algorithm for 6 operators. But chose the 4 operator option in tranzistow. (Since its divided into OpX and OpY) how does it react to this? Thanks
