Approaching the end of another amazing year for audio software, I would like to see what are your top plugins you are using most.
No matter if they have been released this year or before.

My favourites are once again the FabFilter plugins, especially Pro-L2, Pro-Q3, Pro-C2 and Pro-MB.
Reliability like nothing else in its class.. just amazing value for money.
In the instrument sector I want to highlight the Hive 2 and Icarus 2 updates as well as Lion and Pianoteq. Incredible plugins and a dream for sound designers.

Very nice selection, thanks.
I wish I had the time to dive deeper into Halion 6 to create some custom instruments.
All factory patches are of very high quality.

Steinberg Absolute Collection
Arturia V Collection
NI Komplete
AAS Modeling Collection

More than I need or use, but nice to have options. :tu:

Instruments: Kontakt, Falcon, Diva, Rapid, Serum.
If you had to have me pick 5 those would be my choices. With Repro, Rektor and Sylenth1 VERY narrowly missing the list.

Effects:
The entire FabFilter collection?
Man I love that stuff
To specify however let’s say the Pro Q the PrO L and the Pro R as my most essential....oh and the Pro C

And the Pro Anything...basically the entire company.
The post above this is likely bait, viewer discretion is advised.

Still at #1: SlickEQ GE and SlickEQ M
Best newcomer: MCabinet
Most fun this year: Soundemote oscilloscope bundle

If I finished a track today, you would find 90% of the time:

Hive 2 : waited for v2 to get Hive, but it's such a great synth, it has become my "general purpose" go-to synth, even beating Serum to it. Definitely the synth I spent the most time with in 2019.
Diva/Repro/Tal U-No-Lx
Tal Sampler (most recent buy, but use it all the time since I have it)
Kontakt, obviously

Soundtoys (Decapitator/Echoboy mostly)
Presswerk/ Supercharger GT
Satin
Valhalla reverbs
Ozone 7

But... I wouldn't want to live without Omnisphere, Massive, Serum, Reaktor or Trash 2 either :D

Instruments? They are interchangeable.
I probably can't live without Battery 4 anymore, though.

But effects? Nope, need the best I can get:

- Ozone 9 Advanced (EQ, Dynamics, Image)
- Volume Shaper
- NI Transient Master
- TAL-Chorus-LX
- Adam Szabo's Phasor

Apart from that, stock Ableton plugins packed in some smart racks do their job as well ;)

I could, at this point, delete almost all my synth plugins. I do still use Madrona Aalto and occasionally Arturia Easel.

For FX though:

Toneboosters EQ 4
u-he Uhbik-Q
Valhalla Delay, Plate and Vintage Verb
Wavesfactory Cassette & Spectre
DDMF MagicDeathEye
NI Supercharger GT
Izotope RX7 DeClick
Voxengo SPAN

I like several other plugins, but I could work with just these, the devices that come with Bitwig, and my hardware.
