Great limiter, very transparent imo.

I use LoudMax as a Master bus limiter ( threshold: -3 dB, ceiling: -0.3 dB )
and mix into it. Nice and punchy!

Gives a quick non-mastered demo for your drive back home.

Why are you using so-old plugins?

It's an up to date plugin. Still maintained as far as I know. It gives exceptional results. You can get massive levels of gain reduction with very few artefacts.

I have a silly amount of limiters in my box, but LoudMax always has a place! I even chucked him a few quid one time. Must do that again actually. It's a great plugin. No fuss. Excellent results. And best of all only a couple of controls that help you 'focus' on the job at hand. Doesn't always work on everything, but works on a majority of stuff.

It's not 0 latency, but few Limiter plugins are. It holds its own.

Did I mention that it's free?

A comparative plugin might be something like EBusLim by Voxengo - a cut down bare bones version of Elephant. It's something like 50 bucks (and worth every penny):

It's not just another Limiter. It's one of the best limiters you can get.

Oh, and it's free!

I mean, I know Loudmax keeps getting updates, it's one of my favorite limiters too, and version 1.32 is incredible (not all versions are good). What I was saying is why this guy is using plugins that are so old, including a very old version of Loudmax.
