Akai Force vs. MPC Live CPU performance

I'd like to ask someone who has both Force and MPC Live to make a simple experiment, i.e. in an empty project create a short loop using one of the synths & patches that both devices have (Tubesynth, Bassline or Electric) and then duplicate that loop to play simultaneously until playback starts glitching (or whatever these devices do when overloaded).

I'm trying to find out if there's difference in CPU performance between the two, because it's very hard to find any info about the actual specs or even if they're the same CPUs.

Thanks in advance! :)

AFAIK all current Akai devices have got the same internals.

You won't see any sort of processing speed differences between the two. The CPU / internal hardware for the Force, Live, X, One all use the same hardware. I've had both, currently own the Live. Deciding between the two would come down more to workflow preference and other minor differences (Force has Hype synth, Live does not). ram and CPU are the same for both.

Are you sure? I've got it confirmed that X/One/Live allows for simultanous 4 synth plugins, whereas Force 8. There's gotta be a reason for that, no?

I'll have to test it myself, but see post #12484 in the Gearslutz MPC Live thread (page 417):
