I want an OB6

It sounds so lush! Btw did you play that entire thing?

Now you need to add a ton of noise and compression. I seem to remember the intro sounding quite ''warped''.

What drums did you use? They sound very similar.

Nice. I like some OB sounds.
There's a free OB plugin that has got a very nice bass preset in there.

This video is about the OB-6 which is a hardware synth. I'm sure no free plugin can touch the sound in comparison.

I agree! I think I own nearly every major synth plugin on the market, and the only thing that comes close would be Diva and the OP-X.....which I love both, but they really cannot get much of what the OB-6 can get.....not to mention hardware is just SOOOO fun in comparison to use vst's.

Thanks! Yes, I did! This was one of the first songs on synth I ever learned back when I was 15 years old in good old 1984. :tu:

I used distortion, but in hindsight I could have done a bit more in the intro. I used SD3. :tu:

I used to have all of the top toys back in the day, including a couple of OB8's...

I had all of the crap that people seem to lust over these days....

God I love soft synths and plugins
No auto tune...

try telling that to young people today. they have no idea how hard it was. still, we made the best of it.
