Hi all, there's some new products at the VSTplug site. But furthermore, here's the link to an article about the latest effect being released within the next week from both VSTplug and king OZ records.

It will be sold here and on the KVR marketplace for the price of 10 USD.

So, this mastering solution masters to a floor and ceiling but also provides a limiter to smooth things over. There is furthermore linear phase cancellation and mono to stereo capability making it perfect for mastering vocals.

You probably shouldn't need another product for your vocals.

EDIT: so, originally; this product was named Excalibur, but apparently there is a side company of Izotope's that owns a product called that so I renamed the product to Silverhawk.

It was a suggestion/maybe suggestion in a forum post proceeding and it seemed like a good idea. I used to love the silverhawks, space eagle police men from space, zounds!

I thought SynthMaker was finally able to export as 64bit VST too?

If I'm not mistaken according to the Facebook group the 64 bit version is still in Alpha.

"You probably shouldn't need another product for your vocals." Yeah right. Like we've never heard that kind of bs before.Yawn.

here's a link to alpha demo, free to download. Try for yourself and tell me if it isn't the best sounding you have tried (WIN 32 and 64 bit VST2).

VST3 coming soon

https://vstplug.com/wp-content/uploads/ ... -alpha.zip

Please be careful, it's a demo and does not save presets; it's also an alpha with not many labels's however it does function.

And to the above post mentioning Spogg, yeah he's a very useful person to know; but most of this is custom made VSTplug code including My own RBJ filters made from scratch. Spogg made the interpretation of a mono to stereo code example inspired by H. Lauridsen. Thanks again to Spogg for his genious.

I've been studying audio engineering for the past 3 years so I think you will be quite pleased.

I would strongly advise you change the name voluntarily.
iZotope has deep pockets and an interest in protecting their IP.

Totally agree, plus it makes this developer look a bit stupid releasing a product with a name that already been used by well known and respected companies. Sort it out!

Hmm, an izotope company.. Hadn't heard of it until now.

Shame because I made the original plugin like 4 years ago. lol, but what would be a good name ? I'll just pick one of course but suggestions are always good.

I will search the database with a few names and see if there are no doubles,

ah, silverhawk; I wanted to make a track that sounded like old 80's stuff and succeeded. But maybe it's a good name. Hmm, *searches.
