The song was released in 1987. Any help is very much appreciated! Youtube Link to have a listen ->

Good thing in music is: Your knowledge of music theory is getting better with the years by lerning..bad thing: Your singing voice is getting worser with the years. So if you've composed lovesongs at your younger ages, dont wait too long with the recording

i dunno but this is the forum for VST instruments, which didnt exist in the 80's. ask in the hardware forum.

very likely a Roland D-50 and or korg M1
HW SYNTHS [KORG T2EX - AKAI AX80 - YAMAHA SY77 - ENSONIQ VFX]
HW MODULES [OBi M1000 - ROLAND MKS-50 - ROLAND JV880 - KURZ 1000PX]
SW [CHARLATAN - OBXD - OXE - ELEKTRO - MICROTERA - M1 - SURGE - RMiV]
DAW [ENERGY XT2/1U RACK WINXP / MAUDIO 1010LT PCI]

Could be a D-50, but definitely no M1 there. The M1 wasn't released until 1988.

There might be some Roland JX in there too, and maybe a sprinkling of DX7.

The D-50 is available as a VST now, and as for the JX, the PG-8X VST is as close as it gets.

There... I mentioned VSTs

Me neither! What I've read: Den Harrow was the lip-sync look of this fake 80's act.
