Firstly; I apologize for the melodramatic name I've given this project, I wanted to get the video uploaded and couldn't think of anything else. Anyway, over here in New Zealand we're on knock-down for at least four weeks. So I'm going to produce an E.P and document the whole thing.

I wasn't sure if "music cafe" was the right place for this... but if things go to plan, there will be music at the end.

Anyway, I'll post them all here, but it'd be great if you could also subscribe to my Youtube channel.

And finally; If you can't understand my accent... I'm not sure what I can do about that... sorry. :hihi:

I actually think you've got a lot of talent. I'll subscribe to you on YT.
Weren't you thinking of taking a more modern direction with your music, rather than Retro focused?
I'm personally looking to do more House (funky, tropical) genre songs.
Anyway, good luck.

Cheers! Yes, in the future as far as serious things go I'll be changing it up. But this is something separate for me to do while my country's in lock-down for a month. For the sake of this little exercise, I wanted to get away from the computer and use what junky hard-ware I have on hand, firstly; because as far as "video" goes, that looks more interesting than me sitting at my computer, and secondly to prove a good record can be made without top of the line stuff, so yeah, this is just something separate.
Thanks for the follow.

Finished song, plus bonus rant about giving up music... sorry about that bit, I was feeling it, caught it, and wanted to include it. (Oh, and there's swearing)

I like the finished song. Good melody and the lyrics fit the current state of the world. :tu:

I can certainly relate to the frustration of not reaching an audience. Personally I just work on music when time permits without putting pressure on myself so it stays enjoyable. If anyone listens, I consider it a bonus.

FWIW, I subscribed to your YouTube.

Thank you. I appreciate that. The truth is, I don't put that much time into music. I work full time, and I'm a boxer, and teach boxing, so I'm in the gym 3 to 4 times a week. I only work on music for about 4 hours a week, that's why it takes me "Two and half years" to make an album.
Having that little outburst felt good... yes, if not self indulgent, but now all my musician friends are just like "Dude, that's normal, that's how everyone feels." So, you know just instigating that discussion has felt good. And maybe you've noticed in other posts here I've been talking about "re-branding", so I've been planing on ending it... this was just a spur of the moment announcement of something I plan to do anyway. Not that it's a publicity stunt or anything, by "re-branding" I do want to just try something different, like maybe even a proper band, so there's a social element, and the workload is split... I don't really know, all I know is it's time to do something else. :tu:
