Slicing/Stuttering FX - Whats the best option in 2019? (Stutteredit, Tantra, Effectrix etc...)

I dont really use one of these effects but was looking for one, just to have fun and mess up audio with the classic stutter/slicing stuff. Which one of these do you use? I think I would get stutter edit, the only thing that kind of annoys me is that you constantly have to set it up with a midi input, cant just slap it on a track and let it do its fun.

ive actually owned that one for many years until I resold it here, didnt use it alot. If I remember it correctly, its more like digital/bitcrushing type effects along with some buffering stuff? What do the firmwares do?

Shame you missed the last iZotope/Plugin Boutique sale. They sold Stutter Edit for 9 € a couple of weeks ago.

The firmwares replace its signal processing algorithms. Basically changes the entire thing in some cases. like to delays, reverbs, repeaters ect.. The beatrick is my favourite.
